Terms of service for Fortnox Connect

These terms apply between Aldorock AB and the organisation that installs the Fortnox Connect app from the monday.com marketplace. Version dated 2026-11-07.

1. Parties and acceptance

The app is provided by Aldorock AB, Sweden ("we"). By installing or using the app you, on behalf of the organisation whose monday.com account the app is installed in ("you", "the customer"), accept these terms. If you do not have authority to bind that organisation, do not install the app.

Your use of monday.com is governed by monday.com's terms, and your use of Fortnox by your agreement with Fortnox AB. These terms cover the app only.

2. The service

Fortnox Connect is an app for monday.com that connects your monday.com account to your own Fortnox company, creates Fortnox customers and invoices from monday items when you ask it to or through an automation you set up, writes the invoice number, status and paid date back to monday, and checks Fortnox for paid invoices. The how-to page describes the current features.

The app creates invoices in Fortnox. It sends an invoice to your customer by email only when you tick that option, using the email address and template in your Fortnox. It does not book invoices or change your accounting settings. Those actions happen in Fortnox under your control.

3. Your Fortnox account

• You must have a valid Fortnox licence that permits invoicing and API integrations. Fortnox's fees are separate and are paid by you to Fortnox.
• You connect Fortnox with a Fortnox user who is allowed to approve integrations. By doing so you instruct us to act in Fortnox on your behalf within the access you grant.
• Fortnox's availability, rate limits and API changes are outside our control. If Fortnox changes its API, the app may be limited until we have adapted it.
• Fortnox is a trademark of Fortnox AB. Aldorock AB is an independent developer and this app is not endorsed by Fortnox AB.

4. Pricing and payment

• Plans, prices, the number of invoices included per month and the free trial are shown in the app's monday.com marketplace listing. Billing is handled by monday.com under monday.com's billing terms. We do not collect payment details.
• Changes to prices apply from the next billing period and are shown in the listing before they take effect.
• Refunds follow monday.com's marketplace policies.

5. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

• You are responsible for the content of the invoices the app creates: customer details, amounts, VAT rates and references come from your boards and your mapping. Check the preview before creating an invoice and check invoices in Fortnox before sending them.
• You are responsible for your bookkeeping and tax obligations. The app is a tool that transfers data you have chosen into Fortnox.
• You decide who in your account may use the app and set up automations, and you are responsible for their actions.
• You must comply with the law that applies to you, including data protection law, when putting personal data about your customers on boards used with the app.
• You may not reverse engineer the app, interfere with its operation, use it to create fraudulent or unlawful invoices, or circumvent plan limits.
• You may not use the app in a way that exceeds Fortnox's or monday.com's usage rules or overloads our infrastructure beyond normal use of the features.

6. Availability and support

• We run the app on monday code, monday.com's infrastructure for apps, and aim to keep it available at all times. Availability is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no service level agreement on free plans.
• The app depends on monday.com and Fortnox. If either is unavailable, invoice creation and paid checks are delayed until the service is back. Automations that fail because of this show an error in the write-back column and are not retried automatically.
• We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature that is material to a paid plan, we will say so in the listing in advance.

7. Data and privacy

How the app handles personal data is described in the privacy policy. You are the controller and we are your processor under GDPR. A data processing agreement is available on request and, once signed, forms part of these terms. Your data in the app is deleted within 10 days after you uninstall it. Data in Fortnox and on your boards remains yours.

8. Intellectual property

We own the app and all rights in it. You own your data. You grant us the right to process your data only as needed to provide the app to you. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the app without obligation to you.

9. Warranties

The app is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is free of errors, that every invoice will be accepted by Fortnox, or that it fits a particular purpose, including compliance with any specific accounting or tax rule. You are responsible for checking the invoices created.

10. Limitation of liability

• Our total liability under these terms, for all claims together, is limited to the fees you have paid for the app through monday.com during the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. On a free plan this amount is zero.
• We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, late payment by your customers, tax penalties, or costs of substitute services.
• These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

11. Term and termination

• These terms apply for as long as the app is installed in your account.
• You may disconnect Fortnox at any time in the app, and stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it in monday.com. Paid plans end according to monday.com's billing terms.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms and do not remedy the breach within 14 days of our notice, or immediately if the breach threatens the security or integrity of the service or of Fortnox.
• We may discontinue the app with at least 90 days' notice in the listing and on this site.
• On termination, your data in the app is deleted as described in the privacy policy. Customers and invoices in Fortnox are not affected.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always at apps.aldorock.com/fortnox/terms with its date at the top. Material changes are announced in the marketplace listing at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes are settled by the Swedish courts, with the district court for the place where Aldorock AB has its registered office as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law gives you another forum.
